Kahan Family Acquires Rehabilitation Centre of Beverly Hills; Announces New Management Team.

The Centre is the first Skilled Nursing facility to be built in the Beverly Hills area in over 25 years. It was completed in March of 1997, as a state-of-the-art, 150 bed Skilled Nursing facility. With large common areas and rich furnishings and decor, The Centre offers a healthcare environment unmatched in the existing Los Angeles area facilities.

Situated at the corner of 6th Street and San Vicente Boulevard, The Centre is centrally located 1/2 mile from both Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre and Olympia Medical Center and only minutes away from Century City Hospital and UCLA Medical Centre. Adjacent to Beverly Hills, patients and families will have easy access to doctors offices and nearby shopping along Rodeo Drive and at The Beverly Centre shopping mall.

The Centre is a multi-story complex. The ground level consists of administrative offices, dietary services and a large comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit. A specially designed conference room also offers families an opportunity for private family dining experiences.

The Rehabilitation Unit offers realistic rehabilitation environments including model bedroom, kitchen, laundry, bathroom and supermarket areas. In addition to state-of-the-art equipment, the Rehabilitation Unit also features private treatment areas and specially designed stairs and ramp.

Patient care units are located on the two upper floors. The care units contain large patient accommodations, comfortable family lounges, dual dining areas, fully equipped beauty shops, and beautifully landscaped patio areas. The Centre also offers patients private bedside telephones and individual televisions for personal viewing.

Featuring piped in medical gasses and suction, The Centre's patient care units accommodate high acuity patient populations. There is one central nursing station on each floor, along with adjacent nursing offices and common areas
